First Impression in New Zealand

My first visit to New Zealand was very exciting. In September 9, 2002 after exiting airport terminal, my first impression happened immediately when I took a deep breath. It was very clean, fresh, and pure air as though there was no pollution in this country. That's why people in New Zealand look young and happy. Another day of my evening trip to the coast which the time has shown around 6.00 pm. on my watch, I was told to sit on the coast beach waiting to see the penguins outcropped the sea to the beach. I was surprised by seeing a thousand of penguins appearing on the beach at the same time. One of the guide tour told that this phenomena occurred repeatedly at the same place and at the same time. Aborigines village is also very attractive place. This is my new experience that I will not forget. Have you had any kinds of such experience?

Dream Zone - A Place for Sharing and Learning

Two days of excursion with 14 KM master students at Hong Kong polytechnic university in Hong Kong Region of the People's Republic of China was very fascinating and brought me some good experiences. Even though a journey had a few obstacles on the first day of arrival to find the hotel and finally it was cancelled because the reservation has not been confirmed. However, there was a positive side of this cacellation because a new hotel that we found later in the afternoon was cheaper and more convenient. This blog is intended to share the experience of our visit to Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited. After listening the company background and KM practices which several rewards were given due to its expertise and success, the delegates took us a company tour to see real practices of customer service department, KM room for learning and innovation, etc. A picture of "Dream Zone", for example, provided a very supportive and encouraging environment that knowledge workers can come to talk, share, and learn (Ba). Occasionally, many creative ideas are initiated and further developed and transformed into product and services from a discussion in this room. I think that some of the organizations in Thailand should adapt the idea of "dream zone place" and apply to their companies to fit their cultures.
